move, breathe, birth.

Helping you prepare for the birth you actually want.

Move toward birth.

Maybe you’re scared that birth will be painful, or you’re worried about things not going the way you planned. I get it, I’ve been there. After giving birth three times (twice at home) I know that birth is daunting. It’s raw, intense, and unpredictable. But it also might be the most incredible thing you ever do.

Your body was created with in-built systems for birthing. But, things can happen in our minds, our bodies, and in our environment that can make birth more challenging.

That’s where I come in! I’m here to give you the tools for a better birth experience. I believe there’s a blueprint for this and I want to share it with as many women as possible because I think we can change how birth happens for the better.

Hi, i’m Joelle

As a mum of two who has experienced the power of physiological birth, I know how incredible—but also overwhelming—pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can be.

That’s why I created The Birth Movement—to support you in navigating the journey to motherhood. Whether you're facing pregnancy discomfort, birth fears, or want to give yourself the best change for a physiological birth, my mission is to help you feel strong, confident & prepared.

What real Mums have to say…

  • "It [my birth] was honestly the most beautiful experience I ever had. Thanks so much for all your support. The preparation made such a difference in my birth experience."

    Chelsea, first-time mum.

  • "[The course] covered everything from working with the body to manage pain, how to talk with healthcare providers about our care, and practised positions and breathing techniques that could be useful in labour and birth. Practising these positions and different ways of breathing really helped prepare me, mentally as much as physically, and when the day came I was able just to slip into the zone and have a beautiful birth at home."

    Susanna, mum of 2.

  • "I just wanted to say thank you for your amazing course. I loved it so much. For me the time in class was so transformative and important for my well-being."

    Sera, first-time mum.
